This past weekend I listened to the HOA Zoom Meeting from May 21st and found it to be very informative and positive in all aspects of moving forward through the unknowns in this process. I am most impressed with our Manager, Susan, as she has not only given her expertise and that of her company to us far exceeding her job description, but because she has exhibited an extraordinary caring for Las Brisas and us as homeowners.  She has demonstrated in every meeting and in her work, not only a professionalism of knowledge and ability to work with all of the various consultants and firms to make sure Las Brisas has the best information from the most credible resources that will protect our interests in our homes, but also making sure we are getting the best advice and making the best choices and decisions.   That is a refreshing sense of dedication to us and a caring that is remarkable indeed!  We are very fortunate indeed to have Susan’s skill sets, resource of knowledge and sense of truly caring for us and for Las Brisas.  This is not typical!  I do hope that all of us homeowners show our appreciation for her extra time, energy, and caring professionalism that has been extended to us.

I’ve been a commercial real estate developer my long career, and I know first-hand the challenges and even the frustrations of working through the building and rebuilding process.  There are the government processing issues and challenges, and the hallmark of success is always getting the “right” and good people to perform the work.  Much of that success is the result of good relationship building with known credible people (as opposed to focusing on the transactional aspects of their work).  Susan has a keen awareness of this process of finding the best professionals to work with and then building trust, which will result most often in accomplishing a successful project.
